Information technology, due to its wide and rapid growth in the world, has become a vital necessity for developing countries, which has significant importance and application in all economic, political, scientific and cultural affairs of countries. The use of new technologies is the main and powerful tool for countries to achieve development and has a great impact on the economic prosperity of countries. Currently, governments pay a lot of attention to the applications of this technology. Information technology policies, measures and programs will be effective in the development of a country when they have a strategic basis and originate from long-term strategic plans. In the meantime, strategic information systems (SIS) play a very important and determining role. This article, using review and library studies, expresses the importance and necessity of strategic information systems and strategic management in organizations.
