Abstract
The traditional philosophy of management in construction, both in the university and in the construction industry, places great emphasis on the ability to plan and execute projects; In this regard, the emphasis on strategic management in the construction industry has received less attention. Although the pressures of project performance can often obscure the wider social, economic and professional context in which strategic management takes place, it is these broad contextual areas that make strategic management an essential issue for construction organisations. they do Social and technological issues are rapidly changing and creating a professional environment that will look very different in the coming decades than what is experienced in today's organizations. In this article, the key role of strategic management in improving the performance and improving the quality of construction projects is discussed through process optimization, strategic decisions and the use of new technologies, with the aim of improving the quality of construction projects and increasing productivity.
